Brandywine Conservancy
As Brandywine Conservancy Environmental Management Center Director, Sherri is responsible for a staff of 22 employees. She brings more than two decades of experience in environmental and natural resource policy development and implementation. Since 1967, the Brandywine Conservancy's Environmental Management Center has provided conservation solutions to landowners, farmers, municipalities and developers. As Director, Sherri manages all aspects of the Environmental Management Center’s planning and operations, overseeing the two principal programs of Municipal Assistance and Land Stewardship. She provides leadership and strategic direction among the EMC's program areas and projects related to water resource protection, historic preservation, conservation easements and other land rights, municipal planning and ordinances, land use studies, land management, open space preservation, and other endeavors. She is currently also on the board of the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association as well as a variety of other nonprofit boards. Sherri received a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
