Bill leads H. William Sellers & Associates, a strategic land and organizational planning consulting firm providing multi-faceted technical and management assistance to landowners, organizations, and governments on land and water issues. For 23 years, Bill was Director of the Environmental Management Center at Brandywine Conservancy. He also was Land Preservation Director of the French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust, one of the oldest land trusts in Pennsylvania and one with which he’s worked as a consultant at various times and as a colleague for 30 years. Bill was also a founder of the Land Trust Alliance, Preservation Delaware, GSA, and Pennsylvania Land Trust Alliance and assisted the formation or reformation of over 15 regional and local land trusts in the East, Midwest, and South. He has worked with and for local governments throughout southeastern PA and state governments in PA and DE. He had served ad hoc as staff to former Senator John Glenn in establishing Ohio EPA where he became Chief of Planning. He also directed planning for hospital and health agencies and an inner city school improvement program. Bill has served or is currently serving on boards of national and PA and DE historic preservation, land conservation, environmental and other organizations. He served as a township supervisor for 23 years and holds a Master of City Planning from Ohio State University.
