The Pennypack Greenway is a protected area along the Pennypack Creek that connects the communities along its banks, provides recreational opportunities, improves water quality, reduces the potential for flooding, and provides a natural haven for a rich of diversity of plant and animal species. While much of the greenway is protected and used daily by thousands for relaxation and recreation, the greenway is not yet complete. There is a partnership of environmental, municipal, and educational organizations, along with residents working to complete this greenway vision.
